Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as accommodating as possible while ensuring smooth operations. Please review our policies based on your booking type:
Cancellation requests must be made via phone during our operating hours.
Voicemail, text messages, and emails will not be accepted for cancellations.
One free reschedule is allowed if requested at least 48 hours in advance. Additional reschedules may incur a fee.
Single Tickets
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure. If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, you may choose between:
- A gift certificate for the ticket value.
- Rescheduling for another available date.
- Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
Private Tours
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your tour.
- Cancellations 10+ days before the tour: Full refund of the deposit.
- Cancellations 7–9 days before the tour: Choose between:
- A 50% refund of the deposit OR
- A gift certificate for the full deposit value, valid for future bookings.
- Cancellations within 7 days of the tour:
No refund, but you may reschedule once for free if requested at least 48 hours in advance.
Additional reschedules may incur a fee.
- Cancellations within 72 hours of the tour: No refunds or rescheduling.
The remaining 50% balance is charged 48 hours before the tour date.
Corporate Adventures & Large Group Tours (15+ guests)
A deposit is required to secure the booking.
- Cancellations 15+ days before the tour: Deposit refunded in full.
- No cancellations or refunds within 15 days of the scheduled tour date.

General Policies
- All tour participants must comply with the tour guidelines set by Best Coast Tours.
- Best Coast Tours reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather, road closures, or minimum guest requirements not being met.
- Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
- A $500 cleanup fee may apply if necessary due to excessive mess or damage.
- No alcohol is permitted on our vehicles.
Payment and Security
- Best Coast Tours uses secure third-party payment processors (Stripe and PayPal) for transactions and does not store any credit card information.
- All payments must be made in full at the time of booking.
Pickup and Drop-off
- Complimentary pickups are available at select hotels and locations in Southern California for private tours. Shared tours have designated pickup locations.
- Guests must arrive at their designated pickup location on time; late arrivals may result in a missed tour without refund.
Liability
- Best Coast Tours is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the tour.
- Best Coast Tours is not responsible for lost or stolen items during the tour.
- Participation in any tour is at the guest’s own risk.
Media Release
- By participating in a tour, guests grant Best Coast Tours permission to use any photos or videos taken during the tour for promotional and marketing purposes.
Child Safety Policy
- Children under the age of nine or weighing less than 40 pounds must be in a car seat or booster seat, as required by California law.
- Guests are encouraged to bring their own car seat or booster seat, but Best Coast Tours can provide one upon request.
