Old Town San Diego, California’s first settlement, was created in 1769. It was here that Father Junipero Serra came to create the 1st of 21 missions. Now, when stepping into Old Town, it’s like traveling back in time. There are a number of historical sites to visit like the Wells Fargo Museum, El Campo Santo Cemetery, and the most haunted house in America – The Whaley House. There are plenty of small shops to explore and tons of history to uncover at this unique stop!

From there, we travel over the bridge to Coronado Island and make a stop at the iconic Hotel Del Coronado. The Hotel Del Coronado is the 2nd largest all-wooden structure in the United States and is really unbelievable to see. When it opened in 1888, it was the largest resort in the world and has since hosted many presidents, royalty, and celebrities and has been featured in many movies and books. You will love taking a step into this iconic building, exploring the Crown Room with crown-shaped chandeliers, and enjoying its amazing coastal views.
