South Coast Botanic Garden will be hosting its second annual Garden Lights and Ocean Waters (GLOW) experience from November 20, 2021-January 17th, 2022. Complete with interactive exhibits, beautiful light displays, and food and drinks, GLOW is fun for the whole family! Tickets are $34.95 for guests 3 years and up and free for children 2 and younger!
The Los Angeles Zoo returns this year with its spectacular LA Zoo Lights! The LA Zoo transforms into an illuminated wonderland, including light-up animals, a disco ball forest, light tunnels, and festive treats. Tickets for children ages 2-12 are $17, and guests ages 13 and above are $24. There is also special pricing available for LA Zoo members, with tickets at just $15.
This year, Universal Studios Hollywood is hosting EVE, their annual family-friendly New Year’s Eve party. Celebrate all day at the theme park and let the festivities run on into the new year; the park is open until 2:00 am! EVE offers three live music stages, fireworks, and more. Tickets for this event start at $134, with the price going up for express line access to rides and attractions.

Ring in the New Year in style at SHOREbar’s New Year’s Eve party! Nothing short of chic, this event has a 5-hour premium open bar, bottle-service options, and a live DJ. Located in Santa Monica, this party brings nightlife to the beach. The tickets start at $40 and go up depending on the package.
Harriet’s Rooftop bar at the 1 Hotel in West Hollywood is a perfect event for those looking for a glamourous atmosphere. Not only does this party have a live DJ and a 5-hour premium open bar, but it also provides a breathtaking view of the city from above. Tickets start at $60 and there are various VIP packages to choose from.
Dance through the decades all the way into 2022! Club Decades at Boardner’s in Hollywood has DJs, live concerts, photo booths, drinks, and more! Tickets for this event range from $25-$40. The DJs will be playing the top hits from each decade, so you can dance from the sixties to the New Year. This fun dance party also will also feature secret special guests!
If you like to stay on the move, Hollywood’s New Year’s Eve Bar Crawl is the event for you. Your ticket is an all-access pass to more than six different bars and clubs. Bar Crawl participants also get exclusive food and drink specials. Some venues even offer free welcome shots! Tickets range from $19-$29.
Start the New Year on the water at the LA New Year’s Eve Moonlight Pier Pressure Cruise. This sophisticated party takes place on the Entertainer Yacht in Marina Del Rey. The cruise lasts for four hours and includes 2 DJs, a VIP premium open bar, and a buffet dinner. The yacht also has a stunning sky deck so you can party under the stars. Prices range from $175-$279.
