Temecula Wine Tour: Take A Look Inside Our Tour!

Oak Mountain Winery

The Temecula Valley has gained a name as a prime wine-growing destination, and for good reason! Home to almost 50 wineries, this region is known for its cabernet, sauvignon, chardonnay, pinot noir, and more. Enjoying a wine tasting in this region of Southern California is on everyone’s bucket list, but why wait? With Best Coast Tour’s Temecula Wine Tour, you can enjoy some of the best wine in California in style. Let’s take a look at what our tour consists of!

Ride in Style
With Best Coast Tours, leave the planning to the experts. Our custom pick-up and drop-off locations in Orange County and Temecula allow you to start your tour right from your hotel. In addition, our air-conditioned 13-seater vans are packed with water and snacks free of charge, as well as a professional tour guide who is up to date on the best fun facts, historical details, and hot gossip about the Temecula Valley area.

Since Temecula Valley is almost impossible to explore entirely on foot, having your chauffeur for the day allows you to see the valley’s beauty without straining your feet or your vehicle. Plus, if you’re looking to set up a large group for a wine tour, you can reserve the whole van, allowing you and your guests a personal wine tasting experience for all the fun with no planning hassle. So why go through all the stress of reserving your wine tastings when you could enjoy a stress-free day sipping wine in California?

Old Town Temecula and Temecula Valley
The tour begins with a stop in Old Town Temecula. Here, you can take a quick rest stop, pick up some coffee, and explore everything Old Town Temecula has to offer before we head into the valley. Our knowledgeable tour guide can point you toward all the essential sights in the area. Then, once you’re loaded with caffeine and great stories, it’s time to head into the Temecula Valley.

Somerset Vineyard & Winery
Somerset Vineyard & Winery is the first stop on our tour. At this gorgeous winery, we include tastings and a warehouse tour! Somerset prides itself on creating a welcoming, neighborly atmosphere for everyone who visits. Kurt and John Tiedt founded the winery on the legacy of sharing good times with others, and this philosophy has been carried on in every bottle of wine shared at their vineyard. While it’s hard to leave such a breathtaking location, this is only the first stop on our tour, and plenty of wine tastings are included to sip and savor throughout the Temecula Valley.

Oak Mountain Winery
Oak Mountain Winery offers unique drinks and stunning views located on the De Portola Wine Trail. Their famous raspberry and strawberry champagnes are to die for, as are their 30+ award-winning wines. This location features Southern California’s only mined wine caves, and our visit includes a guided tour of the caves, phenomenal charcuterie boards, and wine tastings. If you’re in the mood for more vital spirits, this winery boasts a prohibition-style bar full of classic vibes and fantastic imbibements.

Lunch at Bel Vino Winery or Cougar Vineyard & Winery
We stop at either Bel Vino Winery or Cougar Vineyard & Winery for lunch. These two locations offer gorgeous views, classic mission-style architecture, and incredible atmospheres. While lunch is not included in the ticket price, the food is phenomenal, and you’re sure to elate your tastebuds and your senses eating in such an astoundingly gorgeous location.

Callaway Vineyard & Winery
Our wine tour’s fourth and final stop is Callaway Vineyard & Winery. This vineyard was founded in 1974 and is the first winery open in Temecula Valley. What better place to end our tour than at the start of Temecula Valley’s incredible history? Their restaurant overlooks the vineyard and is breathtaking at sunset. The only thing more gorgeous than the vineyard itself is its mesmerizing wines. If you’re lucky, they may even have their grape stomp event where you can get in on the wine-making process and have a little fun.

At the end of the tour, we say farewell to Temecula Valley and return you to your custom drop-off location. Our day-long tours start between 9 AM and 10 AM and end at 4 PM or 5 PM. The start and end times of the tours depend on traffic and pick-up locations, of course. Still, even when dealing with Southern Californian traffic, our tour guides are sure to provide entertaining fun facts about each area and answer all questions you may have.
